Packet Pick Up Location & hours Yubileyny Sports Palace St. Petersburg, pr. Dobrolyubova 18 Friday, 4 August 11:00 – 20:00 Saturday, 5 August 10:00 – 18:00 Participant packets will not be available for pick up at start area. Participant packet • Bib number with timing chip and safety pins. Medical certificate must proof that the participant has no contra-indication to running in competition. The certificate must be issued less than 1 year prior to the race. SPB Half Marathon Expo will take place at Yubileyny Sports Palace, pr. Dobrolyubova 18. Race Day Start area is located at the Palace square. Please use metro. It’s the fastest and most convenient way to get to the start area. Arrive to Admiralteyskaya or Nevskiy prospekt metro stations. Changing tents For your convenience, male and female changing tents are available in the start area. Please do not leave your items unattended. Please put your race number on the chest. Do not bend, crumple or fold it, do not keep the race number next to any magnets – it may damage the chip resulting in the loss of your personal result. Within a few hours after the last runner finish you will receive a text message and email with your draft result. The results list will be available online at this website. Awarding Participants will compete in overall classification. Men and women who place 1-5 will receive awards. All participants receive a medal at the finish. Age-group awards Participants of the full marathon will be grouped in the following male and female age groups: 18–19, 20–22, 23–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80 and over. Men and women who place 1st, 2nd or 3rd within their age groups will receive awards. If you won in the age category, you will be contacted the day of the race to clarify the delivery address of the prize. 10 km race start at 8:30. Drinks station Drinks station is located approximately at 4, 8 km. Otherwise you will not be able to pick-up your participant packet and bib number. After you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email. Additional registration will be open on 3 August and 4 August online and offline on 4 August 11:00-20:00 and 5 August 10:00-18:00, if there are available entries. Registration requirements Participants must be 18 years or older on race day. All participants are required to pick up their own participant packet (bib number) on 4 August 11:00-20:00 or 5 August 10:00-18:00. All participants are required to show a government-issued photo ID and an original medical certificate stating the participant has no contraindication to running in competition upon picking up their own participant packet. Registration fees are nonrefundable. Please do not hesitate to contact any medical personnel if you are having difficulties – we appreciate you doing so. Finish Your net time will be registered once your cross the finish line. Please do not remain standing on the finish line, but continue walk slowly to the end of the finish area. After the finish you will recieve drinking water. If you are feeling unwell, please ask for the medical aid straight away. Results Your result will be measured with Chronotrack timing system, judges at the finish and the video registration system. Your net running time will be recorded when you cross the start and finish lines. The timing chip is on your race number. Time: 1:29 (pace 4:13 min/km) 1:39 (4:41 min/km) 1:49 (5:10 min/km) 1:59 (5:38 min/km) 2:09 (6:06 min/km) 2:19 (6:35 min/km). Drinks and food stations At the course there will be Drinks and food stations: 3, 5 km; 7, 3 km; 10, 5 km; 15, 3 km; 18, 8 km. Please throw the empty cups to the bins provided or to the side of the road – do not drop them on the road in front of you where they can be hazardous to runners behind you. Medical aid Medical aid will be located at the start/finish area and along the course. The SPB Half Marathon Expo features more than 30 exhibitors offering running footwear, apparel and nutrition. Participants must visit the Expo to pick up their packets.
